Should you be looking for a unique location to hold a

function, where you will be surrounded by magnificent

steam locomotives and historic coaches, the West Shed

is the place for you!

 

The library resource centre at the West Shed provides an

ideal function room for meetings, training sessions or social

events. The room is light and airy with full air conditioning

and seating can be arranged to suit.

 

The room gives a panoramic view of the locomotive

workshop and guided tours of the museum can be

arranged to coincide with your event.

 

 

 

Options for seating.

 

• 1 Conference style – rows of chairs (60-70 people).
• 1 Seminar / training sessions – around tables.
• 1 Dining around – maximum 100 people.

 

Equipment:

 

• 1 Power points for laptop computers.
• 1 Projector and screen for presentations using your  laptop computer.
• 1 Flip chart

Although we have no food catering facilities in the museum, we can organise catering for your function using outside contractors.

 

Charges

 

Room hire only from £100 plus vat.
