After an on time run from Carlisle with 'The Caledonian' on 6th October 2012, and having turned on the Larbert triangle 46233 'Duchess of Sutherland' reverses into Stirling station before collecting the stock from the carriage sidings prior to the return working to Carnforth. Preserved BR class 86 No 86259 'Les Ross' completed the tour back to Wolverhampton.
